How do I find a newly graduated lawyer a student straight out of school to take on a law suit for me.?

an injustice happened to me, I receive ODSP, ontario disability support payments, and this is what happened... I am receiving ODSP ontario disability payments and those funds are guarantied and said by, federal and provincial government law that they cannot be garnished or seized by any court decision, government action, or company in anyway, even for child support payments. yet the CIBC collections department has garnished (taken) almost the entire cheque for january.as well as taken and given back the entire cheque 5 times in the past 8months. the amount they took was 1015.00 dollars and I only receive a total of 1065.00 dollars on the ODSP support payment. the january payment was released early by ODSP on dec 23rd so you can use the funds for christmas expenses. they seized the money on december 23rd (the same day) and I did not get it back til jan. 11th. after 6 long abusive phone calls and an expensive trip to out of town to go to my home branch and speak to the bank manager to finally get this straightened out for the 6th time. in the past 7-8 months they have done the same thing 5 times but in the past I just phone up and tell them that the money they took was ODSP FUNDS and they have given it back 5 times right away. but this time I have phoned and talked to 4 different people and they now keep telling me I am not getting the money back, and they say on the phone that they can legally take ODSP FUNDS now, and that they do not have to return the ODSP FUNDS. I don't know what has changed from the 5 times before to this time, but they are not giving me the funds back and it stats in the law that no one under any circumstances can seize or garnish ODSP support payments, so my question is can I sue them for seizing funds that cant be seized by law and all the harassment and for placing an undue burden (pain and suffering) on a disabled person. I had no money for christmas and I could not pay my rent on time, I had no money for food for me and my dog and I went without my prescription medications for over 2 weeks, because of this illegal seizure. I have done my homework on this issue and in the Ontario Disability Support Program Act, of 1997 S.O. 1997, CHAPTER 25 Schedule B it stats as follows: 18. (1) Income support under this Act, (a) is not subject to alienation or transfer by the recipient; and (b) is not subject to garnishment, attachment, execution, seizure or receivership under any other Act. 1997, c. 25, Sched. B, s. 18 (1). so I would like a lawyer to contact me and let me know if I have a case against cibc for repeatedly seizing funds that are by law not allowed to be seized or garnished, and for lieing to me on the phone that they ``are allowed to seize odsp funds`` and telling me they are not giving the funds back. and placing an undue burden and hardship upon me. my contact info is Michael Elliott I live in toronto PHONE NUMBER 416 907 3249 EMAIL [email protected] I am looking for a civil lawyer fresh out of school, someone who is hungry to make some money to take my airtight case against CIBC bank for harassment, pain and suffering, illegally seizing/garnishing funds that are by law, protected from just that. I need a lawyer that will work for a percentage of the final settlement or court awarded judgment. somewhere around 25-35% to be discussed, and can start right away. I have a little bit of experience with lawsuits I sued someone for damages due to a car accident and received a large settlement. it is the only lawsuit I was ever involved in, I don't sue people frivolously, but these people at CIBC have wronged me and I want justice. if your a civil lawyer or you know a lawyer that would like to take my case, please feel free to contact me and lets get this thing started. Michael Elliott at 416 907 3249 Toronto.

Answer:
It appears that ODSP is deposing money directly into your bank account, and the CIBC has garnished your bank account. It appears the problem is with your own bank, not CIBC. If necessary, you can request a garnishee hearing to determine any matter relating to a garnishment.
