Is it good to fill out job applications online?

Should I fill out the job applications in the store?

  • I am trying to get my first job so I am applying to some fast food places, stores, grocery places, etc. I am gonna be applying to multiple places today. Should I just take the applications, go home, fill them out and then tomorrow or Tuesday turn them in, or should I just do them in the store and turn them in? Also, my mom said I should ask to see the manager and turn it into the manager. Why should I do that? Should I just say "Hello, I am just turning in an application and I was wondering if you had any questions."?

  • Answer:

Yes, always ask to speak to the manager. This will allow him/her to see who you are and show how eager you are. Also, only fill out the app if the manager is there. If the mngr is not then bring it back when he/she is scheduled to be there. They usually like to see applicants between 2 and 4 pm on mondays for some reason

I would take the applications home, and look at them seriously. Get an understanding for the information they want filled out. Complete what you can and then return the application the next day with any questions you have, and then ask for any questions they have. Thank them for their time and leave.

Yup. Impressions do matter. Experience also matters. Good luck to u. It took me like 4 months to get my job. the manager filtered thru the list only to find out that I passed the drug test when all those others didn't.
