Where would I have to go to obtain a basic food hygiene certificate?

Where in Birmingham UK I can receive 'hygiene food certificate' ?

• My college doesn't offering nothing about this certificate, so where could I get in Birmingham for free or a cheap place, could you please suggest me any place. I need this certificate for a waiter or bar staff job. Thank you, Eddy

  The Environmental Health Department at the local council will tell you where these courses are available and they may even run them as well. It is not a free thing and you will have to pay to take the exam and depending on the way it is done even the study sessions you need before the exam. You can do it on line, but you still need to pay for that as well. The practical aspects are what you need so that you are not a liability to an employer. But some employers will pay for you to do the half day course and take the exam if you ask.
