I am earning around £22k in my current role in the Finance Industry, however would like to change career to become a professional chef. I am 30 and think it's too late - i have no chef qualifications but love food and passionate about cooking food. I have part owned chinese takeaways before and worked in the kitchen. Any ideas how i can start my chef career? It seems really expensive for training course and starting at low level chef jobs only pay around £11k!! Thanks

Answer:
I would try catering first. That way you can keep your old job and do something you love on the side. If you're really good at that, you may want to try something a little more riskier. Hope this helps!
