How important is Spanish in medical field or hospital in US?

Interested in the medical career field, How can I get find a medical job while I'm in school?

  • I'm currently in my second year of college and interested in majoring in the medical career field. I'm not 100% what specifically I want to do yet. I want to know how I can find a job that has something to do with a medical career field to help give me experience and get my foot in the door, while helping me pay my way for school. I want something different than working at a restaurant. Help! Oh, and most jobs require experience, and I don't have any so I'm just looking for something simple.

  • Answer:

The way I did it was to start in the field of medical assistant, then I got certified as a nursing assistant to work in the hospital. Some of these are the way I got into the medical field, hope this helps good luck!

Just start from really simple jobs like helping out in a pharmacy (my friend went on a placement thing there and she really enjoyed it), or if you have any friends/family that work in a hospital..try and see if they can get you on a placement there somewhere in whatever department.
