Is pharmacy a good career?

Is being a pharmacy technician a good career?

  • is it easy to find a job as a technician..?? would anyone recommend this. and is the schooling for it hard. and how much does a pharmacy technician get payed hourly. i understand they are able to work in various places such as hospitals pharmacy retail stores and etc. what would be the pay in a regular pharmacy compared to a hospital.. and is it hard to get hired in a hospital.?

  • Answer:

I'm not easy even if you attend pharmacy technician program. Your best bet to get a hospital job is to network for one or to volunteer at a hospital in the pharmacy department. go a good job and should be on time and and get along with your co workers. Try not to attend a school, if you do attend a college try to pick a community college that is ASHP accredited and one with connections with the medical center in your area. Look for pharmacy technician program that requires you to do clinical rotations in retail, home care and hospital. If you do a good job, in one of the three pharmacy settings and keep in touch with them one of them is bound to hire you when there is an opening. Pharm Tech school is not hard. starting hospital is 14 to 16 dollars per hours. Good luck,
