What does it take to become a dentist?

• I was considering becoming a dentist, but I know very little about the requirements to become one. So please tell me how long you have to go to college, what courses must you take it collage, etc.. please help me. Please only post an answer if you are actually going to answer my question.

  I know you need a lot of experience to get into any form of medical course at uni! So you could try and find a placement in a dentist, ask if you can shadow your dentist for a few days too!! I know one of my friends in uni is doing dentistry and he's really really smart! If you go on any university website and look at the list of courses, dentistry will be in there, then look at the course requirements! Theres also apprenticeships you can do to be a dental nurse, but thats not as good as a dentist!! Hope this helps :)
