How do I get a job with CSX in Florida?

Had Florida Unployment Quit Job for Medical Reasons, Will I get it back?

• My job of 6 years had closed so I have been collecting unemployment for a couple months. I found a part time job as a waitress (which is not my field but I needed a job) after giving all my information and training they informed us we had to wear 6 inche heels, as a diabetic I cant cut off my blood flow to my feet. I had to quit the job and they cut off my unemployment. Im waiting for someone to contact me. They said it will be 4-6 weeks, its been 4 weeks nothing yet I also will be getting a doctors note if needed. Im still looking for a job never thought it would be this hard. Do you think I will be able to keep collecting? Thanks for any suggestions too.

  As a diabetic, you should be aware of the American with Disabilities Act. This requires employers to make accomodations to employees with disabilities and medical conditions. - Unless there is something very unique with your role (perhaps you were a Disney character or soemthing?), the employer would have been required to allow you lower shoes. - I don't think a strip club would qualify for an exemption. I don't think you will be able to keep collecting, since you didn't provide your employer an opportunity to accomodate your condition.
