Career in Health Care Management in LA, CA?

• I have a Bachelor's degree (technical art school). I'm now ready to move on to more practical and stable kind of job. What do you think about the Health Care Management program from UCLA Extension? It's a bummer that the intro classes are only offered in the Fall which I've already missed. Is this field on demand now and in the future as they say it is? I really don't want to end up having a hard time looking for work again after spending lots of energy, time and money. :- / Thank you for sharing your advice and experiences.

  In general Health Care Management is probably a good thing to do, the outlook is overall good. That said, can you find out what kind of jobs people have gotten after finishing the program? Also, here's an indeed.com search for health administration jobs in LA, so you can see kinds of jobs are available now, you can modify it with different terms (management, etc.) There's lots of stuff that's not applicable, but it may give you an idea of the demand for this qualification.
