Anyone who knows anything about the nursing career?

Jillian, I'm not a Nurse but I've worked at hospital for over 10 years. IF you decide to take this course in life then my hats off to you. It take a special person to be a Nurse. Its not just about the job - its about the people you help and that you care for and attend to... and the ones you loose. I've met some of the most AWESOME people in the world in those years.. they were Nurses (both RN & LPN). Listen to what the nurses that respond to your question say.. they've been there! ] Good luck and have a great Career!

I'm a retired RN. You will find little demand for advanced knowledge of chemistry, but AP biology will give you a good foundation upon which to build your understanding of the human body and it's functioning. Nursing school will probably require at least one semester of chemistry, at any rate.
