Medical Field?

Pharmaceutical Field or Medical Field?

  • I am a 17 year old in his last year of high school. My parents said that I can pick which ever field that I want to study in. I have narrowed it down to two fields that would be great jobs for me. I could either be a Pharmacist or a Doctor in some part of the Medical Field. As for Pharmacist, I am having all my college reimbursed from Publix Supermarkets. I work there and there is a contract I can sign that would make me work for them for 3-5 years after I graduate, and they pay for my college. As for the Medical Field, I have looked at many different Colleges and University's. I have selected a Medical University located in Costa Rica. The advantages to going to school there would be, one: I can learn the Spanish Language, which is rapidly becoming the global second language next to English. two: the schooling and housing costs are very very low compared to the Medical Schools in the USA. Thats my predicament. Can anybody give me any guidance or tips that would make my decision a little bit easier? I will listen to every question.
