What is harder medical assistant or medical coding and billing?

Im a Medica Assistant... and yes its harder then medical coding and billing

With both fields, medical assistant and medical billing & coding (though billing and coding are not synonymous :) there aren't supposed to be too many jobs despite what those private $$ career/tech schools say. The numerous training programs available have left the field saturated. Regarding MA, a lot of people have said how frustrating it is that most employers prefer applicants with 1-2 years experience in the field to possibly get the job. With medical billing, a lot of companies are outsourcing to Asia/India which also factors into why jobs are more scarce these days. In regards to medical coding, the person usually needs a couple of years experience doing coding tasks, certification(s) in the field and preferably completion of an accredited program to possibly get a job.
