What are the top ten paying jobs in canada?

Is it Worth Becoming a Doctor? Anyone With Personal Experience?? Other High Paying Jobs?

• Hi, please read through this :) Well for my whole life I've always wanted to be a Doctor, it seemed pretty nice with a high paying salary and all, and was a proffesion I thought i'd enjoy. I'm a pretty smart kid, I'm 14, turning 15 soon, Grade 9, I have a 92% average (90%, 91%, 92%, 93%) I've won spelling bees before, I can solve rubixs cubes (even the more complex ones), and i was Valedictorian at my Grade 8 Grad. Thats the jist of how I can explain my intelligence. The thing is, today I had to choose my Grade 10 courses, so I'm trying to decide which courses would be good for me for my "future career" of being a doctor. So, to make sure that I selected courses for the "right" career choice for me, i researched the salary for Doctors (I live in Ontario, Canada), and if its worth becoming one. But, as i researched, i found mixed reviews and opinions on doctors. Some people were saying that (family) doctors only get paid $132 000 and then subtract all the rent fees and other costs and such brang it even lower, PLUS the debt of medical school. But then my mom (who used to be a nurse) said that doctors earn 400,000 dollar salary! Now thats what I'm talking about ! And Don't get me wrong, a $70 000 salary ain't too shabby. But, I want a job where I can earn a lot of money. And as I researched, I noticed jobs like Auto-Plant workers make a 6 figure salary, IT experts, dentists (which im considering too) and accountants do too. I just want a job that earns a high salary, and where i can use my intelligence to its fullest. So now i have no clue about what to think about for my future. My main question is, is it worth becoming a (family) doctor? Whats the salary (in Ontario, Canada)? What are other high paying jobs that won't get me in debt because of ten years of university. And it would be great if there was anyone with personal experiences.. like doctors :p Oh. and what should I choose for my grade 10 courses/courses for the future if i want to become a doctor?

  Almost no doctors earn $400K. But I think you need to find another career, just from reading your post, IMO. People who do become docs almost never ask if it was worth it.
