I would like be be a medical biller?

How much on average does a medical biller make?

  • I have been attending school for medical billing and coding for the past couple of months. Upon starting school we were told we would be certified to code, would graduate with a degree and so on. Once we got a couple of months into the program, we were told we would only graduate with a certificate stating we attended the program and we have to get certified to become coders through state agencies and pay additional money out of pocket, BUT only after we have been in the field for at LEAST a year. They encouraged us to find our own internships but all the places we came upon wanted you to have at least two years billing experience OR be a certified coder. Knowing this information now, I would like to know about how much on average does a medical biller make???
