What are some career choices in the medical field?

Need help with career and college choices?

• I will be a senior in high school in the fall. I have always wanted to be a RN and then become a nurse practitioner but now I'm more open to other options in the health/medical field. I was thinking of majoring in biology and then figuirng out which carreer path I'd like to follow. Today I went on a trip to a place where they make orthotics and prosthetics and I realized there are other fields that help people with their health other than just the typical doctor or nurse. I am interested in the medical field, I like working with children so I was considering being a pediatrician. However it would tkae about 11 years and I would probably have lots of debt for college and then medical school on top of that. I was considering doing mangament in hospitals or health facilities but I don't know what type of job that would be. Can you give me some other career choices in the health/medical field? I already know about PA's and physical therapists. thank you!!!!!

  Well many say life starts a 20 b, bit really it's 30. So you have alot of time to get your education. You could become an MD and then speacialize in a certain part of the body. I am not sure, but I think the process take 12 years in all. I hope you find your calling:)
