Pre-nursing with chinese major? What jobs for major in chinese?

I am a freshman in college and on the pre-nursing path. I was also hoping in majoring in Chinese as well. Would this be a useful pair? What other good jobs are there I can get if I major in chinese? Thank you!

Don't do it, unless you will find it useful, because it will bring down your grades, and to get in to the program, it's very competitive. Someone with 0.1 GPA higher than yours will get in instead of you. I was a school nurse at a university that has BSN / MSN, etc. programs. I saw too many students who wanted to have English / Spanish / etc. minor (and someone with double major). All of them struggle to finish nursing. And guess what? it didn't help them get hired as a nurse faster than without an extra degree.

You can join the peace corps, they would adore you, you can help aide in China or other chinese speaking countries with health care. :D I am being serious, other than that do something just with nursing or something just with Chinese. :/ Sorry I couldn't be more help..
