How do I become a RN in Dallas,TX, if I;m already a RN in Louisiana?

    its easy if you currently hold a liscence in LA just apply with the state of Texas if you have a clean record you pay the fee and wait for it thats all but you should also keep it paid up in LA you can hold one in more states.

Go online to the Texas Dept of licensing or Dept of Education or what ever dept over sees it. You should be able to download the application and send it in. It's called license by reciprocity. The RN license is good in all 50 states. I just did it for Mass. and RI From NY. There is a fee of course.

should just be a matter of going to the TX board and applying for a license. as i understand it an RN need not test again once they've passed in their home state...they just have to get licensed in the state of their choosing.
