Where can I be an RN?

I am a newly licensed RN in Cincinnati, Ohio where can I apply for a job?

  • I am having a hard time finding a position as an RN. Where can I go apply? I am very eager to start working. I have put in at least 30 applications and resumes and haven't had call backs. When I call them they say they will look over my resume and call me if I match their criteria. Urrggghhh Im so frustrated!

  • Answer:

try to work overseas. many countries such as Japan, Korea, India, China, Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore are willing to pay good salary for nurse from usa (off course with good degree from reputable universities in usa). i even heard that the salary is three times than average nurse salary in usa. isn't that irresistible?

Congratulations! I'm not an RN but I work at a hospital and they are cutting every possible penny. Keep in touch with your nursing school as they will often be contacted when they are looking for Nurses. Apply with temp agencies and be ready to work on nearly no notice. Travel Nursing agencies are great if you have the freedom to travel. Check school websites for School Nurse jobs. And perhaps an area you never considered-Department of Corrections or the Jail Division of local Sheriff's Departments. Good luck.

Maybe you ned to move to another city - there are many nursing jobs available in our local newspaper - every hospital and nursing home are needing them. That is strange.
