  • Answer:

The answer above is wrong! To get an RN degree it takes 3-5 years it doesn't take 11 years, thats to become a doctor! I am only 17 but what i have heard is the health field is stressful but very rewarding! Med school is expensive(your bill can come out to $200,000 or more) and nursing school can cost anywhere from $15,00 to $30,000 or even more depending on where and how far you go. All i know it that RN's get paid $35 to $45 or more an hour! Alot of physiology, anotomy, chemistry, biology and phycology are classes you will take.

Other answers

Well what medical career do you want to go into? If you want to be a doctor or a rn you have to go to college for a long time almost 10 yrs. If you want to do Cna or lpn then they have classes that you can go to and get your certificate with in 2 weeks and when it comes to cna's and lpn you get based on your experience(9.00-18.00) an hour. Now if you become a rn or a doctor you get signed on bonuses ranging around 10,000.
