What College should I go to to major in Animal Science?

Does the fact that I don't go to a computer college, will that hurt me as a computer science major from.......?

    I think what you are trying to ask here is if you got a degree from a college that isn't well known for that major will it still matter. The answer is yes as long as it is an accredited college. At the end of the day, as long as it is a legit university, the fact you got the degree is what matters. Going to a prestigious school does have its advantage for certain highly known and very competitive employers like Dell or Proctor and Gamble. Those sorts of places will want a 4.0 average and a lot of other things but there are plenty of places that are just looking for qualified candidates with a valid college degree.

What do you mean by "computer college"? Are you referring to for-profit institutions such as ITT Tech or Devry? If so, your degree from a legitimate university is FAR more valuable. There's nothing wrong with going to a state school.

I don't know what you mean by computer college. All state colleges are accredited. Usually the reputation of the university (e.g. going to a top school vs state school) only makes a difference when you apply for your first jobs. After that it all depends on your work experience and personal knowledge. Don't go to a for-profit college like Devry's or employers will laugh at you.
