IT vs. MIS vs. Computer Science?

Physics vs Math vs Computer Science?

  • I want to double-major in Computer Science and Math or physics. I really like physics, yet there are more overlapping classes between Math and Computer Science (therefore it will be easier)... Could I study physics in grad. school even if it's not my major? Please let me know what you think! any suggestions are welcome.

  • Answer:

Engineering could be a possible choice for you. I'm a Software Engineering student and all of those subjects are taken. In enginnering school, if you fall in love with physics you could switch to aerospace engineering which is all about physics. The 1st two years of engineering are general so you could do alot of soul searching then, but keep in mind engineering school isn't a walk in the park.

computer science because it can do maths and doing physcics is easy by it

What school is your Computer Science program in? I have attended school where computer science is in the math department. So a double with CS and math might be easy. I have also attended schools where the CS department was in the Engineering school. Why not just do computer engineering and math? Computer Science in the end is the application of math.
