Which one is better? Practical Nursing or Computer Engineering?

  • What do you guys think? which one earns more money?

  • Answer:

If you think of the ways countries are going...... Nursing has a huge downfall, countries are forever Cutting healthcare budgets. Although currently they earn more now. The future is computers and whilst some engineers don't earn a good salary, some earn a hell of a lot. Nursing only enables you to go into nursing but with computer engineering you can do a whole lot bigger list of jobs.

I am studying to become an Electrical & Computer Engineer at UT Austin and can say that my starting salary will easily be over 60,000 dollars. That is a whole bunch of money for my first year, and the job market for Computer Engineers in Austin is never lacking. There will always be a need for nurses, but keep in mind the shi**y hours and not nearly as good pay (around 30-40 thousand a year average-not even first year). If you are interested in computers and/or love to program then I highly recommend Computer Engineering.
