Target hiring process?

HR says the hiring manager reviewed my resume but is "in process" (please answer ALL of my questions thank u!)?

• so i applied to this position on aug 19th and havent heard back from them so i did a follow up today with someone from the hr dept. and the man said that when he pulled up two of my applications he notices that they have been reviewed by the hiring manager and is currently "in process". so i asked when i would be able to hear from the hiring people and the hr person told me that he will make a note of it to talk to the hiring manager today and would get back to me today or at the latest tomorrow morning. i also asked if they are still hiring for these positions and he said yes. does anyone kno if iwould have a good chance at getting it? **ALSO, he stated that the process of the hiring stage is a bit complicated because they have been doing multiples (or hiring multiples). what does that mean exactly?

  I'm willing to bet that there's a 90% chance you didn't get the job. That's 3 weeks...so that within the first week, they already called somebody and set up an interview and most likely waiting acceptance. That or they didn't find anybody worthwhile to call. If they see a good catch, they will go for it.
