How do I recruit successful and talented sales people?

Is it immoral to recruit for commission only sales jobs?

  • I get morally burned out when I constantly tell people they can make so much money in insurance sales because I did but I'm good at it! only about one out of 30 people that I recruit make an amazing living doing this but the other 29 seem to waste their time. It gets me down but I try to be positive about the few good ones whose lives I've changed. What do you think?

    It's fine as long as you tell people up front that it's a difficult job that not everyone is successful at. You should be looking for excellent salespeople, instead of people who just need a job.

Dont stress yourself. Its fine. Your opening a new door for people when you offer the insurance industry to them. But also know that your way of selling (and personailty) may be completely different from others.. Ive had alot of interviews for insurance companies but i never went. Im starting a commission based job at Sears... Take care!!
