Does experience as a Cashier considered as a sales experience?

Hello, I am about to apply for the Account Manager position at a local bank. I meet all the qualifications except the "sales experience requirement" I have an experience working for a coffee shop as a Cashier/Greeter/Barrista Does this work experience count as a sales experience? Thanks!

Not really in the way they probably want it but some places class retail work like that as sales experience. I mention my retail experience when an application asks about sales experience. I've applied for some jobs recently and they have actually stated on their job description about sales (if it's been sales work) and given retail as an example so clearly it does in some places, I guess ultimately it depends on the place you are applying to.
