Career Advice: What can I do after working as a marketing coordinator?

• I've been offered a job as a marketing coordinator in the fashion/fragrances industry as a marketing coordinator which is great, but from a career standpoint - I'm a little scared. Should I get into this role, I am not sure what I can do for my career after such a job. Can anyone share some insights into potential roles that I can get involved with after working in a company as a marketing coordinator after a year or two? I'm looking specifically at other marketing/advertising roles, and I've been doing some research but with no luck or answer. Some insights into other potential roles with earned skillsets will be great.

  perfect question. learn the hell out of marketing and when you leave, do not work for someone else. become your own marketing consultant and charge out the wazoo! people do that all the time. companies spend billions on marketing/advertising and you're in a great field. never work for someone else. it's the worst way to cheat yourself out of big money. my 9 year old son already knows that marketing with video increases his pet sitting business... the link below is what he uses and i think it's great. hilarious that he dusts the adults. when he's old enough, he'll be waaaay ahead of the game and savvy enough to make it on his own. You should do the same...
