Difference between markeing manager and sales manager?

  • I'm a senior in high school and i think i would like to get into one of these careers but i dont know which one. can anyone help me differentiate the two? Also i know there are about 165,000 maketing and 320,000 sales managers so would i be a lot harder to get a job in marketing? and how "promotional" are both of them? If you need more info just ask and i will add details asap

I was a senior last year class of 11.. I took a fashion marketing glass junior year that helped me to learn the difference. Marketing is simply The "Promo" of items and products. Ex:Commercials,billboards,ads in newspaper,magazines, displays of clothes in stores.etc Sales manager is not really boomong like the Marketing industry but all they do is make sure they have products to sell. Mainly the products that are promoted from marketing
