What exactly is vector marketing?

What are about com apny name's vector marketing?

  • But i dont know about this company name's vector marketing and can u tell me about this?

  • Answer:

Vector Marketing is a marketing company which sells cutlery, mostly knives. It uses peer to peer selling method. It hires individuals as contractors, who then sell it's product through direct sale, mostly to friends and family. In my personal opinion, it is not very lucrative opportunity to make any serious money. The merchandise is somewhat expensive, and you run out of friends and family soon, who are willing to make that purchase. It takes too much effort to make too small money

I actually worked in this company (for one day.) It sucked so bad. I went through the orientation just for kicks, but it actually seemed like the military, the way they "sweet" talk you into believing that this job is great and a great opportunity. Description: We (6 others and myself, including a "team leader" or some title like that) would drive to an area and park in a nearby store or market. We would then walk around selling knives to people, door to door. We also went to an import/export section of the city and went business to business selling these things, starting with the receptionist all the way to the employees, drivers, even management, until they would tell us to leave. We had our 1-hour lunch break at a fast food restaurant, then after we were done, our team lead tried selling the knives to the employees there (I was so embarassed.) Our team lead got so familiar with us that when someone refused to buy the product, he would say something like "Well, thank you." Then he would whisper to us "f@!#ing a$$h@le," or "cheap-a$$ motherf@#%er." One of the things that might take you off-balance is that all employees must dress up with formal attire (long-sleeve button shirt with tie, dress pants and shoes, and even a blazer or jacket, which I refused to wear because it was so damn hot walking in the streets all day. Pay: commission; however many items you sell, then that's how you calculate YOUR pay. I think you get paid something like $0.50 per item sold. If you sell 10 knives (unlikely), then you make $5.00. I highly discourage you from working there, unless you're that desperate; yet I guarantee you won't be satisfied.
