Can I still negotiate after verbally accepting an offer?

"What Night Jobs Pay Salary? I need to make 20-25 yearly.. it sounds better then hourly. How do I negotiate ?

  • I wrote down.. my expenses rent and bills. I don't shop for clothes. I need 20-25 a year.. while attending school full time. Can't get aid for a child.. I don't have one. I just want a salaried position. Do any blue collar jobs offer this? I am not sue what to do. Real Estate is an idea. Please.. Help. I have had nothing...but horrible interviews with hourly wages. They tell me.. And I am the only one who knows.. What I need to live .. and not be homeless. Everyones expenses are way....different..The person who lives at home .. may be okay with accepting 9.00 an hour.. but to me as a grown woman who pays rent that is humiliating.. How can I negotiate when they tell you? And which may pay salaries.. blue collar? Thanks

  • Answer:

I have three suggestions: 1. Security. Night watch people get paid that much -- and some positions involve lots of sitting around in between "making rounds" -- good for people who need to study. (Sometimes these, and other interesting opportunities, are available through temp and employment agencies, such as manpower) 2. Hotels/Motels need desk clerks and also night auditors. 3. The traditional standby for students: waiting tables and delivering pizzas both pay that well. Good luck!
