Are there any true online jobs?

Are those tutoring jobs that listed online valid/true jobs?

  • Are those tutoring jobs that listed online valid/true jobs? The ads said they will send you to a local family, providing one-to-one tutoring. The rate is $20-$30.

  • Answer:

I would ask for full written details of the tutoring post and what is expected. Home tutoring with the right clients can give you a great reputation. You would need to know the extent of local as it could be a whole county or state! The rates should be as advertised but you would probably be classed as self employed and have to sort out your own tax and insurance payments. Tutoring is a skilled job and in demand. Just make sure you have the right qualifications for the work and get paid on time. Then you have a good source of income with enough people on board! Look up several home tutor websites to see what they offer in common and go onto forums and ask someone who is doing this type of work any other questions lurking in your mind. Looked into home tutoring for our son but way too expensive. Got after school classes instead through local authority. People are keen for the extra help and not able to do it themselves!
