What are the best sales jobs right now?

  • I work at RadioShack right now, and I love it, but I'm wondering what other sales jobs there are? I'm one of the few I know gifted with the sales charm. I can confidently and successfully sell a piece of bark off a tree. I'm a quick learner, adaptable, patient, and I'm good with putting technical babble into layman's terms for people. I've thought about car sales and houses...but it's so cut throat. I could do it but I'm more of a "let's be friends" with co-workers than "you take this sale, I'm curb-checking your dog" type of person.....friendly competition is fine, but I've heard horror stories about higher commission places. I don't want to do telemarketing either. Any ideas?

    Most places I've worked, including car sales, isn't as cut throat as people may think. You just have to be aggressive. There are no friends in sales, it is competitive by nature. If you aren't competitive and aggressive, unfortunately, people are going to walk all over you.
