How much does a New Car dealership sales Manager make in Alberta?

• I am thinking of going into car sales but, I have a lot of question mark in my head. How much does a New Car sales manager make per year in Alberta? There are usually 2 or more sales managers at one dealership right? I am aware that in order to be a sales manager you have to work your way up. How many years do you need to work as a regular salesman in order to become one of the Sales Managers? And you probably have to be the top sales man to become sales manager right? The Sales Managers figure out the best deals and monthly payments and so on for the customers. Is there any education required for this? I plan on taking some business courses at a college and then going into car sales. Would this education be enough to work at a car dealership and eventually become Sales Manager? My dad thinks that a car sales manager makes around 80k a year a diagree with him, i think they make more like 150k. Who is right? I think its hard to believe they make that much because usually car sales manegers are young guys around like 25-30 years old, so its hard to believe they earn 150k a year....
