Freelance doing WHAT? Sites tend to be for a particular type of work, maybe writing or computer programming. You don't just "freelance". That site sounds like a $7 a month scam.

freelance.com and as far as I know it is free.

Here you go dude (or young lady...whichever), Elance.com Freelancer.com Odesk.com Fiver.com (I personally wouldn't fool with it but it’s there). And if you are good at writing/research, you can make money by writing articles. But you’ll need to be fast – able to research fast. You won't make a fortune here, but they do pay and if you get good at it you could make some decent money. There are software tools you can get to help you with research, but all articles must pass copyscape.com to be original and accepted. The key word there is accepted - if you write terrible articles...they won't be accepted. This site was built by a well known and respected internet guru. It's free to sign up and get to work. The great thing about this place is that you can get started very quickly...like immediately. You figure out how to do it and just do it. Hint: Type/assemble your articles in Notepad or Word, then copy/paste the articles into the website when you submit them. Word has the "word count" and "spell check" features - if you spell wrong or use any bad grammar - they won't be accepted. You'll need to always know how many words your articles have and stick to however many words the article written has been requested to have. You'll figure it out...if you want to. Before anybody throws a cow for no reason - I am not an affiliate for any of these sites. The site to sign up as a writer - www.iwriter.com - free to sign up and get started Free article writing software: http://www.articletoolchest.com/ http://www.articlewritingsoftware.net/ And if you are really determined/motivated, you should learn how to do affiliate marketing. You can create your own articles for your own websites that you build, marketing other products. But there's a lot to learn. If that sounds interesting, you should check out these sites. www.warriorforum.com - Probably the best place for any newbie to learn the fundamentals of affiliate marketing. Free to sign up. www.clickbank.com - Affiliate site that pays marketers to promote various products. Free to sign up. wordpress - you'll need to learn how to use wordpress - good luck with that one...youtube is a perfect place to start there. In order to be successful at affiliate marketing - you would need to learn keyword research (tons of info about it at www.warriorforum.com), and you would need to learn SEO/Backlinking techniques - once again tons of info at warriorforum. The goal of that business is to rank in Google/Yahoo/MSN for specific keywords - which your articles/websites would be written around. There's a lot to it, but there are people making serious money doing it. Trust me on that one. My perspective on it is this, you are young, you can learn anything you want. If you have ambition, why not go for the big bucks? I know 23 year old self-made multimillionaires, and one that is not even 20 years old. Of course they use paid traffic methods - Facebook/Google/POF/Media Buying...etc. Those are whole other complicated ballgames to learn though. Why spend 20-40 hours per week doing stuff for other people to make them money, when you could just as easily devote that time to your own deals, and you be the one making the money....things that make you go "hmmmmm." What if you could figure out how to make $50-$100 per day on virtual autopilot? Would it be worth spending a month or two (or however long it takes) learning how to do that and creating websites that would do that for you? You accomplish something like that, and you wouldn't be working at Wal-Mart...that's for sure. It's not easy...but the sky is the limit if you truly apply yourself and don't give up. If you are really serious about making money online - you should go to www.thenewbieuniversity.com and become a free member. He has a free course on affiliate/article marketing (it used to be free - I assume it still is). This guy is awesome....and successful. There you go...now go change your life. It takes great determination to make money online, but it is very possible. If you take my advice seriously and apply yourself - it could change your whole life. The keys to your success are right here in this answer. Unfortunately most people just go "yeah....sounds good.....but I don't know". I hope you don't do that. Good luck to you.
