Calculating sales commission in excel?

HELP! please help with the formula that will generate my report. Scenario: A1 = Quantity..ex. 1 B1 = Price Each..ex. 40.00 C1 = Class.. ex. suit D1 = Group.. ex. 300 NEED... E1 = Commission rate F1 = commission Price after all calculation it should show the rate and the price and it changes group. every group changes rate this is what I am looking for... i need the commission rate to be accurate. If the "CLASS" is 300. the commission rate should change to "2% or .02" if the "PRICE EACH" is lower than "39.99". If the "PRICE EACH" is "40.00" then the "commission rate" should change to "5% or .05". With that rate showing I should be able to calculate the total commission base on "QUANTITY x PRICE EACH x COMMISSION RATE" HELP!!!. PLEASE HELP!!!

Use your columns as above, then in E2, put in teh following: =IF(B2<40,0.02,0.05) Now, for column F, put in the following formula: = A2*B2*E2 (I assume Row 1 is the column headers as above).
