Could you help to remember a movie with the musical phrase "Lady Luck finally learnt to bake?

Need Help finding a old TV show, I remember one part of a movie that was on it?

  • This is probably an old show like in 2004 or 2005, but nobody knows what I’m talking about and its driving me up the wall. Its personal now. Anyways- It’s some show that used to be on tbs or something like that (can’t really remember). It was this show; I think had to deal with marriage or newlyweds gone wrong. Had the same theme of tales from the crypt. it played two clips of the same scenario and there was even (i think a narrator who would speak before showing the movie) I only remember one part of the 2 part show….the scene starts off with a mortician putting makeup on his wife before she goes to work. She looks very insecure and pathetic even. The guy himself looks like a dork. She goes to work and her co-worker or boss starts to kind of flirt with her. (He’s those types of jerks) well she starts to come alive and change her style and do her own make up for this handsome co-worker that’s makes her think he wants her (but in all he’s not serious) well the mortician husband tries to save his marriage because he feels he’s losing her and notices her change. He buys two stationary bikes for them to work out together. She flips out on him and tells him she don’t love him, he’s crazy and she’s about to leave him. He kills her. Later it shows him putting make up on her the way he always did and makes her look like her old self. a detective investigates why she didn’t show up for work. The end scene shows where the mortician is getting ready to bury this old lady and the detective goes to stop the burial because he has a hunch that he’s burying his missing wife. They open it and it’s an old lady and just as the detective was about to give up and feel stupid, the casket taps on something and the wife was underneath the old lady……. Does anybody remember this type of show?!? It was probably really lame and they may have cancelled it already, but I can’t remember the name. I hope somebody can help me with this. Thanks

it sounds interesting but I never saw it. could it have been tales from the Dark side? or "the outer limits" those are twilight zone type shows. you might want to look at the mdb for steven king movies or if you can remember any of the actors or actresses that stared in it that would be a big help. even if all you remember is the directors name in the credits you can look up those names and see what shows they were in. there was a scary trilogy called Cats Eye by steven king it was televised. and there was another show can 't remember what its called but it was about an antique store and people would come and buy antiques and the antique they buy would have some special power or effect on the person buying it. but it sounds like something steven king would be directing. he has produced many movies and directed many more. so even though its tales from the crypt or tales from the dark side its possible steven king might have directed in one of those shows. http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000175/#809189D2-7517-4af1-BAF0-1A36C3BB8640&numResults=50&command= m_objCurrentDo and if you can recall any of the names that was shone in the credits back then, just look them up on the IMDB and see what shows that actor or actress or director was in. and you will find your show. even if its the filmographer you can look him up as well. you can also go to that stations website and ask this question on their message boards if you are sure it was tbs and not sci-fi or some other station. the more I think about it the more it sounds like a detective show like Monk or psych? similar things like what you describe happens regularly on Monk he is always trying to solve crimes and usually does. but I would start with who you think was in the movie or directed it and go to the imbd and really try to remember what network it was shone on. sorry I can't help you more.
