What Law and Order show was this?

What show is most gruesome 24, Bones, or Law & Order? And what is the best and why?

• I don't know much about these shows, I've heard they're really good but never found time to watch them.

  Bones bothers me the most because there are a lot of scenes with decaying, rotting bodies, which for me is more disgusting than just gore. As for which is best, it depends on what you're looking for. If you want a classic cop show, go to Law & Order. Personally, I need a lot more humor, character development, and "smart" dialogue, so I prefer Bones as a crime show. Be forewarned, though, this show also has the most sexual content of all three. 24 is sort of the odd one out because it deals with countering terrorist attacks; it's also my favorite. There's a lot of action, suspense, and unexpected twists, plus the acting is good and the characters are well-developed (with the occasional touch of humor). It's probably unrealistic, but I don't really look for realism in a tv show past character development. It is also the most violent of the three and there are some slightly disturbing torture scenes - it doesn't actually show that much, but a lot is implied. It never bothered me, but if that's not your cup of tea I wouldn't recommend it.
