Whats better british comedy or american comedy shows?

  • ok im british and i watch a lot of comedy shows and i want to know what is better british or american comedy shows british comedy shows i watch: -we are klang -the klang show (just a pilot episode spin off of we are klang) -lunch monkeys -coming of age -gavin and stacey (i dont know if this is comedy or not) american comedy shows i watch: -two and a half men -friends -everybody loves raymond .....i watch all of these and to be complety honest i like the british ones more so i would like to know what do you prefer -

Secondly, the British have impeccable timing and really work the art of setting up a situation that is funny, but also makes one think. Americans like instant gratification, so their comedy is a rapid fire of joke-punchline gags. British use double entendre, whereas Americans just spell it out so one doesn't have to think.

i love both to be fair but im more of a sarcastic person and british humour suits me more, i get bored of things like friends and two and a half men, sometime they're not actually funny, compared to something like coming of age and little britain, but i do like things like modern family which is american and how i met your mother and family guy etc
