Help with a TV show name?

Help name this tv show?

• I'm having a really hard time remembering the name of a tv show. It drives me nuts when I can't figure out what it is! It aired in the 2000s (I'm sure somewhere around 2006 or so). It featured a family who was Jewish, with a couple of teenagers. The father is played by a pretty well known actor, but I can't quite remember his name. He has curly hair, and I am pretty sure he may actually be Jewish. It was a sitcom. Can't quite remember the father's occupation, but he was the narrator. It would often cut to a 'white room' where he would say a few words, narrate the situation, give a lesson, make a joke, etc. The show pretty much revolved around this. I am pretty sure it aired on FOX. Thanks for helping me out!
