Family Guy VS The Simpsons?

  • I think actually I know family guy is better then the simpsons but my brother seems to think that the simpsons are better then family guy, whats your opinions?

    I believe that both shows are great,but I feel Family guy is better.There may be many similarities between the simspsons and family guy,but they are completely different. 1. Stewie talks and maggie doesn’t.The only similarity is that they are both infants who both seem intelligent. 2. Lois is smarter than marge and seems more controlled. 3. Meg is older and everyone hates her. Everyone loves lisa and she’s eight. 4.Bart and Chris are both pretty stupid,but chris is the younger sibling. Bart is more mischievious where chris is less so. 5. Peter and Homer could be twins,but they have certain differences in behavior and mannerisms. The simpsons isn’t very funny and the plot-line seems to drag on a bit.They also contradict themselves a lot.In family guy it seems like they are actually getting older. At one point meg is fifteen or sixteen the next she is looking into colleges.

Depends. A lot of people like them both, and they are equally funny. The Simpsons has been on for a while and it kinda gets old, but its still an all time classic. Family guy can get a bit annoying if u watch too much of it. Im going to have to go with the simpsons.

Judging by your opinion and other I am probably going to get dislike by this but in my opinion family guy is just lazy script writing with extremely boring and predictable plots filled with random and interchangeable gags which are just not funny. Simpsons is weigh better than family guy because it has a decent plot and it doesn't interrupt its plot with constant filler of gags. South park is also a millions times better and actually points out the flaws in family guy in a hilariously truthful manner (not referring to the religious part but the consant flash-backs)

i like the Simpsons its original and family guy has like black humor and its very double standard its a opinion though can go any way

I like family guy way better. I think the simpsons has been played out for too long. It was funny back in the day, but not so much anymore.
