I have psp 2000 custom firmware 3.71 m33-2.what will happen if i update my psp via network update?
-
will i lose my custom firmware?
-
Answer:
I'm pretty sure you will. This is because the network update will give you sony's firmware, which lets you do **** all and will probably get rid of your custom firmware just because its not sony made. The right thing to do is to expect the worst. Also, why would you want to network update anyway? There are plenty of newer psp custom firmwares now.

I'm not sure about 3.71, but 4.01 m33-2 has the updated Network Update link so you don't lose your CFW. Worst you can do is try it and spend the 3 minutes re-modding your psp if it takes off the CFW.
