Are there any good offline multiplayer FPS's?

How to play COD Black Ops multiplayer, OFFLINE?

• ok so I have gone to the multiplayer menu, the split screen and Team death match but there is no 'settings' option that everyone keeps saying to go to to change the difficulty. It allows us to play multiplayer but then there is no one else on the other team. My bf and I want to play in the same team against enemies is this not possible??? do we have to be against each other? There is no combat option cos apparently that is for online only. And like although it gives us access to play there is no enemies or anything. lyk wats going on lol. PLEASE HELP ASAP:) and be detailed so i can understand lol thanks Its on xbox 360

  Easy answer. What you want to play is combat training. What you do is go to multiplayer and in the drop down box where it says theater, Xbox live, private match, something else, combat training. Click on combat training. There you can set how many enemy's are against you, and how many teammates you have, and what difficulty they're on.
