Does GTA 4 PC work online?

Gta 4 PC on a burn disk will it work?

• I downloaded Gta 4 PC and burned part 1 and 2 onto a disk. The Disk Dvd R- 4.7 GB the image files had been compressed from 2.5 GBs to 1.5 each. And before installing it i want to know does it really work or is usuing the bought version better. I mean I got the real version yesterday but I decided to use a blank Dvd as a Guinea pig. So my question is does it really work if you burn the files to a disk or does it not work. Also my Dvd R- is dual layer. Also can someone tell me what kind of Grapic Card do I need to play it. Oh yes my computer is a laptop Dual Core.

  yeah you can copy games with the right programs. they have things in place for anti piracy though. last time i copied a game it was some time ago and i used alcohol 120 if i memory serves me. i don't know if that will still work now though, maybe a more up to date version. as for running it, you might be out of luck. most laptops on the market have onboard gpu (onboard video) which is fine but without slots you are stuck. meaning you can't upgrade most likely. there are some of the more high end that will allow you to do this but the are not normal graphics cards either. however they did release a patch to simplify the graphics allowing more people to play it. it's not the prettiest but it might get you going if you can't run the game. next time you download a game try a program called daemon tools. you can create a fake disc drive and mount the iso. then run the installer and put the cracks in place (typically it the game's root folder). no disc required :D
