How do I fix the assassins creed brotherhood pc studder bug?

My big Christmas present this year was assassins creed brOherhood for pc I was so exited that I popped in my disk player on my pc long story short the player was broken I had to spend lots of money on a new one so the next day I popped it in again and it ran so I spent a couple of hOurs making an account and then I tried to play it and the video was unbearably studdering plz help I don't want to pay that much more and I really don't want to return this game

Also, make sure all the video settings are set to the lowest as possible. If none of these things work, you may need a new graphics card/processor.
