What is a good PC gaming headset?

Good gaming headset with a GREAT microphone that can be used for PC and is about $30 or less FOR GAMEPLAY VID?

  • I'm probably asking a lot, but I AM willing to sacrifice comfort for a good quality mic. I want to record gameplay from Steam for YouTube (using Procaster) and I want my voice to be clear while viewers can still hear what's going on in the game. My budget is puny ($30) but it can probably go up $20 if there is a headset that's around $50 and is really great. I'll be using it for PC gaming and would like it to be at least a LITTLE durable, not that I'll be throwing it across the room or anything... I just don't want it breaking after three months for no reason (I'm a very careful person and I doubt that I'll even drop them, ever). Also, if there's anything else you think I should know... tell me! :D Thank you! PS I'm not sure if this will be an issue but I will probably be using a Macbook Pro (I know, I know, macs and gaming are a big no-no) so I'd like the headset to be compatible!

    I want a gaming rig for 200 bucks too. 80-100 bucks. Not 30 or less. And really you should buy a dedicated mic if you are actually doing podcasting quality stuff.
