Help building my own gaming PC?

Can anyone give me help building a gaming PC?

Also help with recommending parts would be nice and I would be very grateful. This desktop will be made as a christmas present from my mom and dad and im trying my best just to get a good gaming pc for a cheap price just to help them a little more. Thanks.

  That's probably about the best you can do for that price. Might want to get just 4 GB of better quality RAM though
