Need a good gaming pc.

I need a good GAMING PC! Please help!?

  • I need a new gaming PC to play newly released games like Battlefield 3, Skyrim and Assassin's Creed: Revelations. I am already running MW3 on full settings and Skyrim and AC Rev on medium settings. My current PC is: Core 2 Duo E7300 2.7GHz 2GB RAM ATI RADEON HD 4550 DDR-3 My budget is $1000. I don't care about the case or cooling, I just need decent cooling system. Also, I live in KSA so i can't go to those North-American stores so please tell me the specs only. I asked a guy at this shop and he told me a PC with i3 4GB RAM 2 GB ATI RADEON HD 5??? would cost around $700. *I'm not looking for a monitor. I'm happy with my 17" acer. Please help me! I'm seriously in need of one. I am also on Xbox Live : U1trazap

If you're willing to build your own, the folks over at the verge put together a nice guide on how to build a decent gaming machine for around $1000.

I think you should go with a pc who has 4 gb ram 2.8 processor etc

Sorry mate, I don't know how much it'll cost in your country. I only know in terms of USD. A custom built here, with an i3 would cost around $600. This will just to give you an idea of what parts you need. I don't know how much this'll translate to where you live. Part availability, prices, etc can be different. Essentially it goes like this: Tier 1: Enthusiast (i7 2600k+) - $1500ish -GTX 580 / 6990 or SLI/Crossfire equivalent Tier 2: Hardcore (i5 2400, i5 2500k, First gen i7) - $1000ish -GTX 560 Ti / 6950 or SLI/Crossfire equivalent Tier 3: Mid Range (AMD Phenom II x4 955, 960T 965, 970, 975, AMD FX 6100+, First Gen i5) $750ish -GTX560 / HD 6870 Tier 4: Entry Level (i3 2100, 2105, 2120, AMD Phenom II x4 up to 945) $600ish -GTX550 Ti / HD 6770 Tier 5: Viable (AMD Athlon x4, i3 First Gen) -GTS 450 / HD 6750 In the United States, with $1000 budget, you would be able to get a tier 2, or hardcore, gaming PC. Like I said, I don't know how the prices or part availability in you country. I would shoot for a cross between tier 4 and tier 3. CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 975 ($160) Motherboard: ASRock 870 Extreme3 AM3+ ($80) RAM: Corsair XMS3 4gb [2 x 2gb] @ 1333Mhz ($28) GPU: XFX Radeon HD 6870 1gb ($180) PSU: Coolermaster RS600 watt ($61) HDD: HITACHI 500gb @ 7200rpm ($80) Optical Drive: ASUS 24x ($19) OS: Windows 7 x64 Home Prem ($100) Case: Coolermaster 430 ($50) =$748 Just to give you an idea. I hope i was of some help!
