Whats a good minecraft server to join?

I have been looking for a LONG time for a good minecraft server. Ive asked this question before, and had some good servers, but everytime i tried going on, something happened (website didnt work, server glitched up) so PLZ help me out and let me kno if u know, own, or are in a good server. Ill probably ask my friends if they wanna join too,

I have a bukkit server but I can't get anyone eles to join so I just gave up on it but if u help me fix it then that would be fine it says server connection error.
