Can you use a xbox 360 controller on assassin's creed 2 from the apple app store?

i am thinking about buying assassins creed 2 from the apple app store and i looked on the reviews and every one says that the controls are awful. i would like to know if there is a way to use a xbox 360 controller on this game. i have used a xbox 360 controller on my other laptop but that was a windows 7 and i had to download different programs. if there is something i have to install to get a xbox 360 controller to work on that game from the app store, then please tell me the link. thanks for any help and tips

Answer:
As long as it is a Microsoft Xbox 360 controller for PC, there shouldn't be any problem. You can just plug the controller onto your PC and the game should detect it automatically. And i don't think you will need any programs (other than the drivers disc which comes with the controller) for the controller to work for the game.
