Why Does My Screen Flicker on and Off while Playing Games?

Screen loses signal while playing games on PC?

so when i play heroes of newearth the screen will go black and the sound will get all screechy and distorted and then it will just say no signal on the screen this is very annoying as i never get to finish games i start. also while playing battlefield bad comany 2 the screen will randomly turn white and thats all i can see and when i open task manager the game does not respond. Graphics card works perfectly so its not that Power supply is far greater than my pc need so its not that and ram has been tested and is working perfectly Could be anything else. PC specs Processor: intel core duo E6700 Mother board: Asus P5L1394 Ram: 4GB DDR2 Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce 8800GTX Power supply: cooler master extreme power plus 700W and i meet the requirements for the games i play the hide screen modes that this monitor can't display is ticked AND ITS NOT A DRIVER ISSUE
