Good racing game for pc?

I just got a top of the line laptop and Im wanting to test it out on a good game, I like racing, so naturally im looking for a good racing game because i have been out of the gaming loop for a while. In a racing game i like realism, (EX: damage and rain to affect your performance). What game would you reccomend for me? THANKS!
